A gorgeously sparse drawing app, Paper is easy to use, once you figure out the basic gestures needed to create and navigate your journals. Read this blog post by Matt Elliott on How To.  I have just downloaded this app and have quickly decided to purchase the essentials pack to get the full suite of tools.  It is really easy to use and I can see that this tool will be my app of the week next week.  I especially love the ‘arty’ feel to the creations that can be made and the ability to catalogue them into different sketch books.  These works of art or brain storms can easily be exported into other apps for other purposes.
